Contract Between Fusion Education Inc and Parents of Robotics Students
This agreement ("Agreement") is made effective as of date mentioned below between Fusion Education Inc, a non-profit organization organized and existing under the laws of the State of California, with its principal place of business located at 11604 Aspendell Drive, San Diego, CA, 92131 ("Fusion Education"), and the parents or legal guardians ("Parents") of the students enrolled in robotics classes provided by Fusion Education.
1. Learning Opportunity:
Fusion Education provides robotics classes for educational purposes only. Parents understand and acknowledge that there is no guaranteed return on investment in terms of specific learning outcomes or proficiency in robotics skills. It is understood that the acquisition of knowledge and skills may vary among students and may take time to develop.
2. Misconduct and Termination:
Any misconduct by a student, as determined by Fusion Education, may result in the student being denied services in the future. Fusion Education reserves the right to terminate any previous commitments with the student without refunds in the event of repeated or severe misconduct.
3. Limitation of Liability:
Parents agree that Fusion Education, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be held liable or responsible for any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the robotics classes or related activities, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. Student Requirements:
Students are required to bring their own laptops, pencils, and water to the classes. Parents acknowledge that Fusion Education does not provide daycare services and that prompt pick-up of students at the end of class is required. Any student remaining more than 10 minutes past the scheduled class end time may result in additional contributions to Fusion Education, unless an extension of the class is decided upon by the instructor.
6. Intellectual Property Rights:
Fusion Education retains all intellectual property rights to any materials, curriculum, or resources provided to students during the robotics classes. Parents and students agree not to reproduce, distribute, or use such materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Fusion Education.
