Team Fusion reached out to the community in an elementary school spring carnival event to spread word about Robotics and First programs.
It was a fun world carnival event with different countries and cultures represented on the stage and stage was lit with some magical performances with singers and dancers. Several vendors had their shops set-up and many fun activities and carnival games helped create a magical environment.
Team Fusion brought in their FTC and FLL robots to the event and displayed them to the community and engaged in a friendly communication with several interested kids and parents. Kids of all ages were super excited to see Robots of different shapes and sizes and wanted to interact with the robot. They had their shot at it with the FTC robot using the remote controller.
Several parents came to know about the Robotics and they were interested to learn more about the First program and Team Fusion promised to send more info for the season and help them as needed. About 30 people provided their contact information to learn more. Team Fusion is now gearing up to reach out to them to provide the promised info.
Team Fusion had an amazing time connecting with the community and answering the questions and showcasing what they were able to accomplish with the help of First programs. It was pretty exciting for the Team Fusion to see a solid response in the event and Team is ready for further outreach.
A few more pictures below from the event. Until next time!
